Your Hosts - Sharon & Malcolm Carmichael

The Banff Log Cabin Guesthouse is owned and operated by long term Banff residents Malcolm & Sharon Carmichael.

Malcolm is more widely known as a professional photographer for Alpine Peak Photography and has lived in Banff for over 40 years with his wife Sharon of 30+ years and 3 beautiful daughters.

Sharon loves meeting interesting and cool couples from all over the world. As active members of the community, they both enjoy sharing their vast knowledge of the area, and making sure you get the most out of your time in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Malcolm & Sharon were honoured to represent Banff on the UK TV Travel Show : “Wish You Were Here”, broadcast in 2008 and rerun in 2010.

We have enjoyed your hospitality very much.  The breakfast was marvelous, thanks to the lovely muffins from Sharon.  The cabin is beautiful and everything was perfect.
